Pacific council forwards parks reorganization and unclaimed-property resolution, pulls budget amendment

The council also forwarded AB25-140 (Resolution 2025-1007), addressing State of Washington unclaimed property, to Oct. 13.
Council President Kerry Garberding moved to strike item B, AB25-139 (Ordinance 2025-2114 — 2025-2026 Budget Amendment #1), from the workshop agenda because Finance Director Beth Wright was not present to present the item. The minutes record the removal from the agenda; the workshop did not take up the budget amendment and no vote on the ordinance is recorded.
The minutes do not record a roll-call vote for the forwards; all three disposition notes are recorded as council consensus or agenda changes in the workshop record. The clerk’s minutes list the resolutions and ordinance numbers and show the items’ new status (forwarded or removed) for the next regular meeting cycle.
Next steps: AB25-138 and AB25-140 are scheduled for consideration at the Oct. 13 meeting; AB25-139 was removed from the Sept. 22 workshop agenda and will require reintroduction or placement on a future agenda before any council action.
