The Pilcher House is a non‑contributing structure in the Hamburg Local Landmark Historic District; staff recommended issuance of a certificate of appropriateness, concluding the site improvements would not be intrusive or diminish neighborhood character.
The applicant briefly addressed the commission: "I just want a pool. It's hot." No substantive objections were raised by commissioners. A motion to approve the request was made, seconded, and carried by roll call; the commission recorded unanimous affirmative responses from those present.
The project may proceed consistent with the conditions noted in the staff report and the certificate of appropriateness.
