Perkins told the council he had opened bids earlier and was pleased with the pricing for several line items. He recommended awarding paint striping to Fine Line Pavement Striping; culvert work to EJ Prescott; winter sand to JBVC; paving and shim/patch work to Soderberg Construction; and crack sealing to 180 SealCo. Perkins noted the bids included a price‑escalator clause for fuel and materials.
A council member moved to accept the recommendations by listing each vendor and scope; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. Council asked staff to proceed with contract execution and to monitor escalator provisions if material or fuel prices rise.
