District reports Measure M progress, preschool repairs and consolidation logistics

On consolidation, Dr. Zamarripa reported a packed second consolidation committee meeting, student‑led tours for incoming cohorts, completed special‑education transition meetings, transportation planning including MOT routes, and a summer MOT timeline to have Clifton ready by July 31 for fall registration.
Board members asked about marquee brightness and LED spill, sandbox replacement at CELC, bathroom additions at Plymouth tied to increased enrollment after adding sixth grade, and whether communications would be multilingual; staff confirmed electrical and dimming options for LED signs and said outreach will be multilingual.
