SANDAG urges riders to register for Bike Anywhere Day; San Marcos to host three pit stops

Rachel also noted that everyone who registers is entered to win one of five e-bikes donated by Ride Panda.
Mayor Jones and Deputy Mayor Sunella encouraged the agency to bring additional ebike-safety and youth education events to San Marcos schools after recent local bicycle accidents. Rachel acknowledged the request and said SANDAG has partner toolkits and regional resources to support local events.
The council commended SANDAG’s outreach, asked staff to coordinate pit-stop logistics, and urged residents to wear helmets and follow safety guidance during the May 21 event.
