In executive committee business, Vice chair Haas reported one response to the RFP for scribe/scrivener services from Sound Solutions Law, LLC (principal Kyla Bond). Haas said legal staff had reviewed the response and the firm’s stated attorney hourly fee appeared to be $325; the commission will either proceed with contract steps or return the response for additional review next week.
Secretary Garber and the public outreach committee reviewed logistics for five upcoming town halls (dates/locations provided) and the team confirmed presentation binders, flyers with QR codes to the survey, and CVTV interest in filming one session. Support staff reminded commissioners that resolution packets for the May 27 meeting must be submitted by May 22, 3 p.m.
The commission took a brief recess and then continued study committee presentations.
