Legislative aide Lorenzo Rosas presented the item on behalf of the authoring supervisor and said the bill would extend the city's ability to use camera enforcement through Jan. 1, 2034. He cited prior statewide pilots and studies indicating improvements in transit reliability following automated enforcement. Vice Chair Danny Sauter asked to be added as a cosponsor. The committee approved sending the resolution to the full Board with a positive recommendation; the clerk recorded a unanimous 3‑0 vote in committee.
