At the May 11 meeting the Papillion La Vista Community Schools board approved the consent agenda and a routine contract for driver education services for 2026–27 with ESU 3.
A motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Mr. Bailey and seconded by Mr. Madler; a roll call vote was taken and the motion carried. Later, Brett Richards introduced the driver education contract, noting that the price had held steady from the prior year and that ESU 3 typically delivers the program in Gretna; Richards said the program provides opportunities for students and that the district has had positive experience with the provider.
Mr. Madler moved to approve the 2026–27 driver education contract with ESU 3, Miss Butler seconded. The chair called the roll; the recorded votes were all in favor and the motion carried. No amendments were offered and no supplemental materials were requested at the time of the vote.
