Norwalk commission to rewrite bylaws after ordinance changes; draft will go to city review

"It does need to go before city council for approvals," Jasmine Prezzi said when asked to confirm the process.
Members noted the bylaws could address member terms, minimum participation standards, and language about continuation of service until reappointment. One commissioner raised that the ordinance permits the commission to seek funding and suggested the group discuss how the commission would pursue grants or donations and what budget oversight would look like. The Chair said commissioners who cannot attend the drafting meeting would be included in revisions and that staff would confirm the formal process for final approval.
