TOMBALL — The Tomball ISD Board of Trustees on May 11 approved a District of Innovation plan covering 2026–2031 and a package of policy revisions that include changes to the district’s grievance procedures and library-acquisition process, after extended discussion and a 6–1 vote.
The DOI and policy packages aim to preserve local practices that district staff and the policy committee say work well while incorporating required statutory changes. Administrators emphasized the changes are designed to make procedures clearer and to add transparency for parents.
