Noxious-weed chemicals: Public works recommended bulk purchase of weed-control chemicals. The commission accepted the Van Dijk Supply Company bid for $8,965.88.
Fuel MOU with City of Abilene: Commissioners approved an updated memorandum of understanding allowing the City of Abilene to use county fuel pumps; an administrative charge (noted in discussion as roughly 10¢ per gallon) will offset software, insurance and administration costs.
Appointments and routine resolutions: The commission adopted administrative resolutions including the appointment of Vicki Geiber to the North Central Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging representative post, and appointed Paul Freilich to the county’s 9-1-1 advisory board.
