Tuscarawas County commissioners approve supplemental appropriations, hire and floodplain permit

Veronica Spidell, Job & Family Services director, requested approval to hire Aleisha Youngen. The permit, submitted by Lee Carl Finley, Floodplain Coordinator, covers electrical infrastructure decommissioning and upgrades in Sandy Township, southwest of Mineral City along and across the Huff Run. The motion passed unanimously.
Finally, the board authorized payment of the presented bills (Resolution 326-2026) following a motion from Commissioner Mitch Pace and a second from Commissioner Greg Ress. The vote was recorded as unanimous in favor.
