Gaelic Cultural Society ($10,000) and others.
John Morgan moved to refer the proposals to the Economic Development Committee and Hattie Thatcher seconded; the motion carried. The referral means the committee will review submitted proposals and make recommendations to the full council on allocations for the FY2025-26 mill levy funding cycle.
Why it matters: the Economic Development mill levy funds are a local discretionary source intended to support community economic projects and nonprofit and business initiatives in Butte-Silver Bow. Presentations from past recipients are intended to document how prior awards were spent before new allocations are made.
