Advisory committee to draft bylaws language on attendance, seeks better student representation

"We would provide you options for legal, and then you all put your input," Cindy said.
Committee members also discussed practical obstacles to sustained student participation: athletics, work schedules and travel make evening meetings hard for student‑body presidents. Several members recommended offering Zoom attendance and rotating windows so each high school’s student representative can participate at least once per month.
The group discussed scheduling a follow‑up HAC meeting in June or July to finalize bylaws language and to prepare materials for the academic committee and board; no formal bylaw vote was taken at the April 28 meeting.
