Project Mover: A liaison reported that Project Mover data show “literally hundreds” of trips originating from the new Mercy bike station; the steering committee and select staff will receive further trip-origin and destination analysis to inform downtown planning.
Google Park RFQ: Trustees were told staff is narrowing the RFQ respondents for Google Park and expects a shortlist within a few weeks to begin interviews and select a partner for the project.
Public art and facilities: The public-art subcommittee is collecting mural submissions for the Rochambeau Wall. Facilities updates included a proposal from a vendor to address embassy roof/window leaks and a proposed feasibility study for library HVAC; trustees discussed warranty checks, phased design recommendations and the need to manage public expectations given multi-year timelines.
Next steps: staff will circulate Project Mover data to trustees and sustainable-jobs members, share the RFQ rubric and shortlist when available, proceed with vendor estimates for embassy repairs, and determine whether to schedule dedicated workshops for complex design items.
