The Weatherford Planning and Zoning Commission handled a number of routine and substantive items during its Aug. 13 meeting, approving minutes and several plats and conditional‑use permits and forwarding rezoning recommendations to City Council.
Key actions included approval of the July 16, 2025 minutes; staff-recommended conditional‑use permits for an RV sales/display use at 2328 E. Interstate 20 and an automotive body shop at 113 S. Line St.; final‑plat approvals for a commercial lot at 710 S. Main St. and Park Hill West; and preliminary plat approval related to the Racetrack fueling station project. All of these motions passed unanimously.
On other matters, staff and commissioners discussed thoroughfare connections for Park Hill West and the need for proper labeling and coordination with utility providers (Encore) for the Racetrack plat. The meeting concluded with no new future‑agenda requests and no citizen comments on nonagenda items; the commission adjourned at 3:30 p.m.
