FFA officers updated the Mount Horeb board on a June 16–23 Canada fishing trip that enrolled about 22 students and roughly 16 chaperones. Two student officers introduced themselves: Ana, who said she will serve as FFA president this school year, and Rome, identified as vice president.
Students walked the board through photos of camping, fishing and island life, described operational details (food committees, packing, equipment loading) and noted that memorial donations from a longtime chaperone funded new tents and a camp stove. Students and board members highlighted the trip’s value as an experiential-learning opportunity for leadership, outdoor skills and teamwork.
Board members applauded the presentation and thanked the students and chaperones for their work and leadership.
