Board approves $8,394 Data Wrangler energy-metering installation, paid from Fund 50

Ed said the installation cost of $8,394 will not come from the general fund but from Fund 50 (the food consortium account) because the kitchen equipment is a clear beneficiary of the data. "We should see some savings as soon as two to three months," Ed said during his presentation. He moved to approve the proposal and the board seconded and carried the motion.
Administrators said consortium partners would share the cost and that previous vendor pricing helped keep the district's price down. The facilities committee will collect data and report back to the board on realized savings and any recommended operational changes.
