The Denton Planning & Zoning Commission unanimously approved two final plats during its May 13 regular meeting.
FP26‑12b (Summit 35): Julie Wyatt told the commission the applicant had addressed city comments and met all approval criteria for a multi‑lot industrial development on Denton’s north side near the I‑35/Loop 288/Highway 77 intersection; Commissioner Riggs moved to approve, Commissioner McDuff seconded, and the motion passed 5–0.
FP26‑4 (Landmark Phase 2 North): Cameron Robertson presented the final plat for Landmark Phase 2 North, north of I‑35 West and north of Robson/Robeson Ranch Road, reporting the CEP was complete and staff recommended approval. Commissioner McDuff moved to approve; Commissioner Riggs seconded and the commission approved the plat 5–0.
The commission also approved the April 29 meeting minutes (5–0) earlier in the agenda. Staff provided a brief P&Z matrix update and reported that City Council on May 5 had postponed indefinitely a rezoning request for a property on Bolivar (R‑3 to R‑7) and asked the applicant to continue working with neighbors.
All three formal votes recorded in the transcript passed unanimously; no member recorded a nay vote, abstention or recusal.
