Freeburg Primary Center receives flag flown in combat; student presents certificate

The family provided the flag and the district will display it near the primary center entrance with an engraved plaque listing family members.
Superintendent and school staff thanked the family and Madison's class for the care packages and presentation; the board acknowledged the display with applause.
What happens next: Facilities staff will install a display case and an engraved plaque to accompany the flag at the primary center entrance.
