Boyle County agrees short-term lease terms for Old Post Office tenants, approves parking deal for Danville Pediatrics

The court voted to approve the first two tenant accommodations: Department of Public Advocacy at $3,256.50 per month and Bluegrass Chiropractic at the current rent, both for up to six months pending relocation agreements and lease paperwork.
The court also addressed Danville Pediatrics, which leases 15 parking spots at the Old Post Office location. The court approved a month-to-month arrangement at $40 per spot per month (total $600 monthly) with a 60-day termination clause and language that allows the county discretion to relocate those spots should the sheriff's office need them for official use. County attorney Herron confirmed that legal language and leases will be prepared following the court's approval.
Motions on the floor included a motion to adopt the first-two-tenant arrangement (moved and seconded) and a separate motion to authorize the Danville Pediatrics parking arrangement with the termination clause; both motions carried by voice vote.
