“While the district continues to face challenges, the district is showing resilience and potential areas such as Math and Science,” the superintendent said, urging investment in supports and regular data review. The report compared Pleasant Hill SD 1 to neighboring districts and cited statewide trends of slow recovery post-pandemic.
Board members asked clarifying questions about grade-level disparities, attendance impacts and next-step accountability measures; staff said quarterly reports and specific intervention plans will be part of future work sessions.
