The Cincinnati City Council voted unanimously to pass an emergency ordinance authorizing the city manager to execute a water service agreement with the city of Madera, Ohio, to provide retail surplus water service through Dec. 31, 2065.
Council introduced Item 20 as an emergency ordinance and moved to suspend the rules for immediate consideration. During roll call on suspension and on passage, every council member present recorded affirmative votes. The roll‑call sequence shows votes from Council member Albee, Council member Jeffries, Council member Johnson, Vice Mayor Kearney, Council member Nolan, Council member Owens, Council member Parks and Council member Walsh.
