Clayton council approves consent calendar including ADU pre-reviewed plan program and committee appointment

The Clayton City Council on Nov. 21 approved its consent calendar, encompassing a set of routine ministerial items and program authorizations.
The motion, moved by Councilmember Cloven and seconded by Councilmember Trupiano, passed 4–0 with Mayor Jeff Wan absent. Items approved included: the Nov. 7, 2023 meeting minutes; appointment of Mike Wells to the Trails and Landscape Committee for a term starting Dec. 1, 2023 and ending Dec. 30, 2025; the City’s annual report on development fees for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2022 and June 30, 2023 prepared under the reporting requirements of Section 66006 of the California Government Code (AB 1600); authorization to submit applications for any CalRecycle grants for which the City is eligible; and approval of the City’s Pre-Reviewed Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Plan Program and authorization for staff to implement the program.
Council did not record separate public comments on the consent calendar items at the meeting.
