Council members press administration to speed Cincy OnTrack spending and provide historic comparisons

Council member Mark Jeffries asked for three comparative numbers — predevelopment, encumbered and spent — and for historical context across prior fiscal years to judge whether the roughly 5% spent figure is typical or indicates the city is behind schedule. Anna Albee said the city has paved about 40 lane miles so far this year versus a typical goal of 100 and asked what council and administration can do to speed delivery, including whether more project managers or procedural changes are needed.
Members asked that the upcoming budget presentations include concrete barriers and resource requests (for example, additional project managers or procurement adjustments) to accelerate deployment of Cincy OnTrack funds. The committee filed the report and requested follow-up materials.
