Johnson introduced the fourth naming for Barnes Barber Shop, recommending Mathis Street at Madison Road be given the secondary name "Barnes Brothers Way," and noted the Madisonville Community Council had previously approved the idea 33–0.
Vice Chair Anna Albee expressed support for the Barnes Brothers naming, calling the shop "a Madisonville staple, really a heart of the community." Chair Mark Jeffries advanced each item for passage by unanimous consent in committee — "Without objection, we'll put that on for passage," he said — and the transcript records no roll-call votes on these items during the meeting.
