"So on, your first page of 2026, we're going to need to revise the budget to what expenses we've had on the wood chips out here and our improvements to our playgrounds," S6 said, describing the needed transfers and the timing of grant qualification.
Council members discussed options for the identified $21,105 net increase, with suggestions including allocating money toward the cemetery to restore grass, adding to parks for incidentals, or holding the funds until June when final grant status is known. Chair (speaker S2) said the council will post public hearings to take comment on the tentative FY2026 revision and the FY2027 budget and that formal action will follow.
