Pacific council forwards several items to Feb. 24 meeting, pulls Stewart & Valentine change order for review

At the workshop the council agreed to forward AB25-086 (Resolution 2025-972), an open purchase order covering 14 vendors for 2025, to the Feb. 24 meeting for formal action. The packet also included AB25-088 (Resolution 2025-974), a King County 2025 City + Tribal Grant Agreement, and AB25-089 (Resolution 2025-980), relating to the city's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit; both were forwarded to Feb. 24 by council consensus.
An item on the Stewart & Valentine contract, AB25-087 (Resolution 2025-975, Change Order No. 1), was pulled from the workshop agenda after discussion with the Public Works Committee; council members directed that the change order receive additional review before returning to the council agenda.
Mayor Kave raised a separate operational request seeking to place shipping containers at the city well site to store Public Works inventory currently kept in the shop behind City Hall. The workshop record shows the idea was discussed but no formal direction or vote was recorded.
The agenda for the workshop was approved unanimously; the meeting opened at 6:47 p.m. and adjourned at 7:22 p.m. The council did not take recorded roll-call votes on the forwarded items at this workshop; final action, if any, will occur at the Feb. 24 regular meeting.
