Bradley County Mayor announces $9.064 million FEMA-backed grant for Bradley High School expansion

The announcements came during the Mayor’s regular report to the commission. The Mayor said the local school system will cover the county’s matching share for the school expansion grant and that other, smaller grants remain in progress. He asked commissioners to note the grants and indicated he will follow up with details as contracts and paperwork are finalized.
No formal vote was required for the grant announcements. The Mayor said additional grant-related items will be reported back to the commission when documentation and contracts are available.
