Staff explained the index fluctuated recently (an 8 percent uptick was noted) but that the threshold for escalation is 10 percent. Project staff will document unit quantities and coordinate reimbursement from PA American Water for shared work.
Council approved the award on a motion and second. Staff will provide final project accounting after construction and confirm unit-price billing and any escalator adjustments.
