MAP Stars students bring home dozens of awards, say elective builds life skills

Program director Christie and student leaders described competition events including employment interviews, human-relations decision-making, team-management and the LifeSmarts trivia competition. Staff said community volunteers helped judge and interview students, exposing them to workplace expectations and building students' confidence; one student won first place in an employment interview event.
