Lever said there could be liability if an accident occurred and the county had removed safety features such as the guardrail.
County staff (Clemen) responded that the bridge had been installed according to plans previously approved by the board and the DOT. Supervisors agreed Luke should meet Lever at the bridge to review the situation in person and determine next steps.
