The PTA Board of Trustees introduced Greg Moser of the search firm retained to lead the authority’s CEO recruitment. Moser described a three‑part process: an initial listening phase (one‑on‑ones with trustees and stakeholder outreach), job description development and a public advertising plus proactive outreach phase to build a diverse and qualified slate.
Moser said the executive committee should perform early resume screening and first‑round interviews, with finalists presented to the full board for final interviews and selection. He recommended that the chair or a small negotiation team handle final compensation negotiations to expedite an offer once a finalist is chosen. Moser emphasized stakeholder engagement and a timeline that aligns CEO recruitment with transition milestones and the authority’s operational stand‑up.
The board and transition staff will schedule one‑on‑ones and stakeholder sessions; Moser said he will send an invitation to trustees to sign up for meetings and will work with the executive committee on timeline and compensation strategy.
