County Engineer Mark Massie described the benefits of a proposed wheel loader for shoulder and clipping work; the loader's base price and an optional $5,000 clipping attachment were discussed, and the chair read a final purchase amount of $286,462.35 into the record including the add-on. Commissioners raised no objections. The meeting also approved four deputy hires effective May 4 and several merit increases.
