The board completed its reorganizational business during the meeting's latter portion, taking nominations, running secret ballots where required and approving routine appointments.
Nominations for president, vice president, clerk and treasurer were opened and the board conducted secret ballots for several seats. The board announced Gail Love as president and Brian Coker as vice president. Stephanie Sar was elected clerk after a run‑off ballot and later was selected treasurer. Board members congratulated the new officers and discussed succession and training plans.
The board approved a slate of operational appointments by voice vote: DMB Bank was appointed fiscal depository for district funds; Renne Lewis & Lacy (Tess O'Brien) was appointed district legal counsel; and the Star was named the district’s official newspaper. The board also appointed delegates to Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB), Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA) delegations and named a delegate to the WIAA annual meeting.
The board set its regular meetings for the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the district boardroom and approved a calendar that cancels certain meetings during school breaks. After completing the reorganizational votes and appointments the board moved into the previously announced closed session by roll call.
