The district expects combined food‑service revenue of about $2.385 million and a near‑break‑even projection for the fund, with Witson's providing a financial guarantee of $100,337 if projected margins are not met.
Board members asked about vending, milk alternatives, food waste and the logistics of birthday celebrations; staff said they are exploring digital payment options and will provide vendor details and nutritional data as requested.
