The clerk called the roll and council approved minutes from the May 5 work session and May 5 regular meeting. The consent agenda passed without discussion.
Council dispensed with additional readings and approved several ordinances on the calendar, including ordinance 14-26, which repeals Boise City Code Title 3, Chapter 22 (short-term rentals), and related code changes on the first/second/third-reading calendar. Each ordinance was moved, seconded and approved by recorded voice votes.
On land-use matters the council approved the Corona Town Home subdivision (SUB2-000082) at 1504 Manitou Avenue, a plat vacation for Camp Brown suburban land tracks (SOS26-00003) to remove conflicting plat notes for lots 2 and 6, and the Zura Town Home subdivision (SUB25-000026) at 3210 West Morris Street; planning staff recommended approval for each item and no public opposition appeared for those items.
Where discussion occurred, council asked staff clarifying questions and confirmed conditions such as required sidewalks, tree preservation and right-of-way dedications. All motions in this batch were approved by the council as recorded at the meeting.
