Mayor Holliver announces he will step down amid new job that presents conflicts of interest

Council members and staff offered tributes at the meeting. City Manager Tom Williams praised Holliver’s leadership during the COVID‑19 pandemic and his role advancing the recreation center project; Vice Mayor Raldi and other council members commended his steadiness and civic commitment. Visiting San Bruno Mayor Rico Medina described collaborative conversations and thanked Holliver for cross‑jurisdictional work.
Holliver said he will remain a resident of Millbrae and expressed confidence in the council’s ability to continue city business; he did not announce the date of his formal resignation or the process for replacing his seat.
