The council unanimously approved a $25,000 pledge from Fan Contracting, Inc. to the Chino Valley Pickleball Association capital campaign and authorized donor recognition on the court surface at Community Park.
Pickleball Association representatives and Fan Contractings representative presented the pledge and requested placement of a company logo on a half-court sideline for donor recognition. Staff recommended the format and placement follow the parks advisory boards donor recognition plan and noted surfacing and color work would be coordinated at construction to avoid interference with play. The council approved the naming-rights format and placement by roll call vote.
Council action clears one early private pledge toward construction of eight public courts that the town and association plan to site at Community Park as part of the Community Center Phase 3 vision. The council did not yet authorize construction contracts; those steps will follow fundraising completion and design.
