Inglewood council approves Verasoft contract and adopts zoning changes; salary ordinance introduced

City staff recommended the Verasoft agreement as a cooperative purchase to replace or modernize permitting and licensing software. Council moved approval, the motion was seconded and the clerk recorded roll-call votes with Councilmembers Gray, Morales, Faulk and Mayor Buds voting in the affirmative. Also on the consent agenda, the council moved to waive further reading and adopted Ordinance No. 26-07, zoning code amendment no. 26-0000001, which the staff said modifies miscellaneous regulations in Chapter 12 of the Inglewood Municipal Code related to the medical enterprises overlay zone, the Inglewood International Business Park specific plan and parking for major-event patrons.
Council additionally introduced an updated salary ordinance for fiscal year 2025–2026 (item O2).
