Chisholm board approves electrical-vault change order and multiple personnel contracts

At its meeting, the Chisholm Public School District board approved a change order to repair and waterproof the electrical vault and accepted the recommended contractor after reviewing competing proposals.
Jordan presented two bids for the vault work: TNT Construction's change-order total of $197,008.42 and a Johnson Wilson proposal of $269,310. Jordan recommended TNT as the lower-cost option after soliciting additional proposals; the board approved the TNT PRF-33 change order by voice vote.
The board also approved personnel actions. Directors moved, seconded and unanimously approved the hiring of Robbie Albert as the PK–6 principal effective July 1, 2026. The board approved updated job descriptions and at-will contract terms for Morgan Anderson (human resources/payroll/accounts payable specialist) for the period 07/01/2025–06/30/2028; Noah Kaeser as business manager for 07/01/2025–06/30/2027; and Joe Phillips as district technology director for 07/01/2026–06/30/2028.
Additionally, the board approved an updated job description and a collective bargaining agreement between ISD No. 695 and the Chisholm Principals covering 07/01/2025–06/30/2028.

The board closed routine business and set several community dates including a grand opening event tied to the first home volleyball game on Aug. 27.
