At a special meeting, the Correction Advisory Committee voted unanimously to enter an executive session to discuss a personnel matter under general statutes 126A.
The chair opened the meeting, read a roll call and noted that nine committee members were present, constituting a quorum. The chair also noted the presence of the committee ombuds, Devon Ward.
“The only item on the agenda tonight is a personnel matter that will be discussed in executive session pursuant to general statutes 126A,” the chair said. Committee member Reena Kapoor moved to enter executive session; Ben Howell seconded. After members indicated assent, the chair stated, “I believe that's a unanimous vote to enter into executive session.”
Before adjourning to the closed session, the chair thanked members of the public for their interest and said the committee will schedule a public meeting shortly to discuss several other matters and encouraged the public to attend.
The committee then proceeded into executive session; the public portion of the meeting concluded and the transcript ends as the chair turns to staff to proceed with the closed-session logistics.
