She described two receptions planned with Santa Clara University’s Levi School of Business to host visiting corporate and diplomatic delegations from countries playing matches in the city.
The presentation cites local selling points the city will promote: proximity to Levi Stadium, an educated workforce, industrial land and capacity for power-intensive businesses. Marina highlighted ongoing local projects and policy tools—downtown redevelopment RFPs, the Clara District and a Patrick Henry Drive specific plan with capacity for up to 12,000 units—as examples of near-term investment opportunities.
Committee members welcomed the materials and recommended including clear contact information for visiting delegations. Staff said the booklet will be used for FIFA outreach but will be updated and reused after the tournament.
