Board honors students and athletes at Lacey Township High School meeting

The board presented monthly unsung‑hero awards to students named in May and June, including Cali Peekom and Madison Supa, and the principal introduced seniors of the month (Lena Bolair, Michael Grande, Rebecca Rea Vasquez, Erica Doofinger and Declan).
Athletics: The board recognized gymnastics, boys and girls swimming, and baseball for conference championships, noting both swim teams won the B South championship in the same year — the first time in over 25 years.
The board’s recognition segment included brief remarks about students’ postsecondary plans and a round of applause for coaches and families. The meeting then moved to committee reports and the public‑comment period.
