"Since the Fourth of July parade, I guess two years ago, a young lady came up and said she couldn't even get her stroller," he said, noting that the grant application is the culmination of work to improve pedestrian access along the Route 22 corridor.
The resolution authorizes municipal staff to apply for the multimodal transportation fund grant through the Commonwealth Finance Authority in the amount specified. Council members moved and seconded the request and approved it by roll call.
