Council members voted to order tables and seating to furnish Lost Lake Commons as a near-term improvement while larger design choices remain under consideration.
Ryan, presenting the parks update, reviewed photos and amenity options and said staff would solicit suppliers and return with color samples. Council member Kevin moved to order six picnic tables for the lower pavilion area, eight rectangular tables for the upper area and a mix of eight chairs (half "Aderondic" style, half non-Aderondic), with a preference for natural-tone tops and black metal bases; the motion received a second and passed by voice vote.
Several council members emphasized adding seating now so residents can use the park this summer while reserving decisions on larger or custom features (photo-op sculptures, swings or a permanent fire pit) for a later workshop. Ryan said the budget for park improvements is roughly $100,000'110,000 for the project and that staff would proceed to order available items and return with final colors and placement plans.
Next step: staff to place orders based on council direction, email 2'3 color choices to council for a quick selection, and report stock/lead times to coordinate delivery and installation before mid-June if possible.
