District goals include incremental percentage gains in K–8 literacy screeners across identified student groups, a 6‑percentage‑point growth goal on ACT‑related literacy measures for grade 11 by 2028–29, expansion and fidelity targets for AVID participation, a 2‑percentage‑point attendance improvement goal through Check & Connect interventions, and a short‑term licensed‑staff diversity target (from 6% to 8% licensed staff of identified groups by 2028–29).
The plan also lays out integration strategies with neighboring districts per Minnesota Department of Education requirements; staff said Cedar Park remains the district's racially identifiable school and described school‑level goals and summer outreach programs such as Camp Invention and Business Innovation Academy to support participation and integration.
Board action: Following presentation and member questions on goal selection and measurement, a motion to approve the plan passed 6‑0.
