Resident asks to buy district parcel; commenter urges accountability after coach incident

"I appreciate you listening to me," she said, and asked the board to consider her long-standing request.
Khaled Khan, who identified himself as a resident and former student and candidate, praised the district's teachers and Superintendent Mark Greathead for his service and urged unity. He also raised a concern about an incident involving coach Corey Ferner, saying issues of conduct and accountability affect trust and morale. Khan asked board member Mr. Harris to "consider stepping down at the end of the school year" to restore trust, framing the request as a call for accountability rather than punishment.
The board took no immediate action on the parcel request during the meeting and did not respond to Khan with a decision on his request regarding board membership. The administration and staff present indicated they would accept the survey documents and follow up as appropriate.
