The report highlighted year-to-date receipts for fiscal 2026 (reported as $6,744,100 in the packet) and singled out property-tax and common-school fund receipts. Capital Referendum Fund activity included a purchase of a new chiller for the high school and library and initial work on baseball-field improvements; board materials also recorded monthly disbursements across the general, activity, scholarship and debt funds.
The board voted to accept the financial report and approve payment of presented bills; the vote was announced as carried (the transcript notes a 7–0 outcome in the roll call following the motion).
In a separate facilities update, the district’s facilities lead described substantial progress on the new baseball complex: grading and gravel placement are complete in the initial areas, water and sewer lines have been bored and tied into the middle-school lift station, drainage piping installed, and conduit and scoreboards scheduled for installation. Turf placement, irrigation and fence work are next steps; the district said some community members donated turf rolls for batting cages to accelerate installation.
Administration said construction is expected to continue through June and July for finish work, with some tasks deliberately scheduled after school is out to avoid disrupting instruction.
