Jay said a prorated payment plus September rent totaling $3,520.50 would be due the day before occupancy (Aug. 21) to secure the space.
Commissioners discussed logistics and transitional actions for surplus furniture and equipment from the VSO. The board approved the move and associated surplus disposition motions.
Next steps: staff will coordinate the deposit and move logistics with the treasurer's office and offer surplus items to other departments before sale or disposal.
